Time to Talk Day 2023 takes place today on February 2nd, where we’re sharing our top books all about conversations around mental health. Our top Time to Talk Day books are a great starting point to boost your own emotional development and get chatting. This is an opportunity to open up a discussion about wellbeing and mental health with friends, family, colleagues or neighbours using these fantastic titles as inspiration!

It is the UK’s largest mental health conversation, and it is run by charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, in partnership with the Co-op and with support from Time To Change Wales, See Me and Change Your Mind / Inspire. Talking about mental health isn’t always easy, but a conversation has the power to change lives. Use the hashtag #TimeToTalk on social media to start a chat with others or it can be as simple as texting a friend.

According to Mind, there are so many reasons why Time to Talk Day is vital. Here are just a few:

  • Every year, one in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem.
  • Talking helps to create supportive communities which can empower us to seek help when we need it.
  • By opening up the conversation about mental health, we can support both ourselves and others.
