Top five bestselling Thich Nhat Hanh books

Thich Nhat Hanh was a Vietnamese Zen master, who died at the age of 95 on January 22, 2022. The Buddhist monk and peace activist is the author of several bestsellers, and during the Vietnam War, Nhat Hanh was the chairman of the Vietnamese Peace delegations. Before his death, he was the head of Plum Village, a meditation community in southwestern France. Here are some of his top books:

📚 The Art of Living: Peace and Freedom in the Here and Now (2017) – This works offers wisdom on how to fully experience every moment of every day.

📚 The Miracle Of Mindfulness: An Introduction to the Practice of Meditation (1975) – This book explains how practicing the ancient Buddhist art of mindfulness can help improve our wellbeing and our lives.

📚 The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching: Transforming Suffering into Peace, Joy and Liberation (1998) – Nhat Hanh explains core Buddhist teachings, including the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path, and how to apply this to daily life.

📚 Peace Is Every Step: The Path of Mindfulness in Everyday Life (1990) – The Zen master shows us how to make positive use of the situations that usually pressure and antagonise us.
